The world’s love for diamonds had its start in India, where
diamonds were gathered from the county’s rivers and streams as
early as the 4th century B.C.
In 1700’s Brazil emerged as a prominent source for diamonds
whilst during the late 1800’s South Africa followed, with the
discovery of the ‘premier rose’, a diamond weighing 1,000
carats.
What makes a diamond so special?
·
Scientists – might say the
conditions under which diamonds form in the earth.
·
Economists – might argue that its
their rarity
·
Consumers – might think its their
association with love and beauty.
On
all the earth there is no gift that symbolizes love, sacrifice,
and unwavering devotion quite like the gift of a magnificent
diamond. Each diamond given speaks of the love between a man and
a woman, and each diamond, like each relationship, is
wonderfully unique.
Every diamond is unique – and this is what makes it very
special!
